About me

Meet nicole

How many times have you set silly expectations and goals you didn’t meet?

In High School, I remember saying “By the time I’m 23, I’ll be happily married with three kids and a successful career.” In my 20’s I set a new expectation, “By the time I’m 25, I’ll have a really high-paying job and be comfortable and blissfully happy in life.”

SPOILER ALERT

It didn’t really go down like that, and I bet alot of what you planned likely didn’t work out either and you know what? That’s okay.

By the Time I’m 30 is about letting go of pressure to be any specific way at any specific point in our life. Let’s laugh more at our “failures” and change our perspective along the way.

Nicole

mom, blogger and part-time smart ass.

As a woman in her mid-thirties, I’ve found that most of the expectations or goals that I set for myself have played a massive role in my emotional ups and downs. Trying to “find” and define myself has been a struggle and so, I’m learning to let it go. (most days!) By the time I’m 30 is a journal about mental health, wellness, beauty and sometimes, just bullshit. I hope you can relate in more ways than one.
